More Antique New Orleans Postcards (Page 8)

Pages: [ 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 ]

Here are yet more antique postcards that I do not own -- but I have scans of. I hope you enjoy them!

Spanish Fort and Bayou St. John

This circa-1910 card reads: "Spanish Fort and Bayou St. John, showing the Gates to the Fort, New Orleans." It was published by J. Scordill of Canal Street.

St. Charles Street

From what I can discern, this old linen cards seems to show a view, circa 1910, to the southwest, where Royal Street has just crossed Canal Street and turns into St. Charles Avenue (map) — far from the charm that the Garden District holds about a mile from here, where the trolley starts it's long crecentic route.

St. Peter Street — French Quarter

Here's a quiet view of St. Peter, and it's quaint French Quarter architecture.
